Participate in Our Métis Housing Needs Assessment:
Join Our Engagement Sessions and Complete the Survey
The Otipemisiwak Métis Government is dedicated to enhancing housing options and services for Métis people in Alberta. Led by Métis Capital Housing Corporation and funded by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC), this initiative is part of a collaborative effort to co-develop an Urban, Rural, and Northern (URN) Indigenous Housing Strategy, complementing the National Housing Strategy. Guided by the expertise of Three Hive Consulting, a Métis-owned organization, we aim to gather valuable insights through in-person engagement sessions and a comprehensive survey.
Your feedback is critical in determining funding allocation, which will focus on strategic planning and partnerships with Indigenous Services Canada. We want to hear from diverse groups such as women and children, youth, elders, renters, and homeowners.
